Cinnamon Myrtle (Backhousia myrtifolia )
Cinnamon Myrtle is used in savoury recipes, deserts, confectionary and herbal teas. Because it is a leaf it is not as strong as cinnamon bark.
Add to curries, stews and rice dishes (wonderful in steamed rice). Mix with lemon myrtle and chilli and add to breadcrumb mix.
